          FAQ
Where should I send files for mixing and mastering?
How do I send the song for mixing and mastering?
If you recorded with Pro Tools, you can send the whole session folder to thisisthelegion@gmail.com. If you recorded with anything else, please send the separated tracks (like lead vocal, ad libs, etc). Just make sure that each track lines up at the beginning of the song. Meaning if your verse starts 2 minutes into the song, there should be exactly 2 minutes of silence on that track before we hear your voice.

The files will probably be too big to send directly through email, so you can use a free service like WeTransfer.com to send them over.
          How much do revisions cost?
All mixing and mastering packages come with one round of revisions for free. Additional revisions after that are $50/hr with a $20 minimum.
What format will the mix be sent back in?
You will receive a high quality mp3 file of your mix. A wav file can be sent as well if requested at no additional cost.
How much for a clean version, acapella, etc?
          Each additional version is $20.
How long will it take to get my song back?
Turn around time is 1-2 weeks. If you need something done quicker, rush delivery is available for an additional fee. Email us at thisisthelegion@gmail.com for details.
          What’s the difference between a tracked-out and 2-track beat?
A “Tracked-out beat” means that the instrumental is broken up into multiple stems or tracks. Meaning there would be one track that just has the kick drum, another one with the snare, etc. A “2-Track beat” is just one file (usually .mp3 or .wav) that has the whole instrumental on it.
